Do I need to have hair removal for full depth vaginoplasty?

This ultimately is up to your surgeon, but for full depth vaginoplasty, it is highly recommended to have hair removal on the perineum, scrotum, penis, and approximately 1 inch around the base of the penis.

Any portion of skin that may be used to form the canal of the vagina should have hair removal. But, some surgeons may perform a folicle scrape to clear any remaining hair.

Do I need to have hair removal for zero depth vaginoplasty?

This ultimately is up to your surgeon, but for zero depth vaginoplasty, it is not typically necessary to have hair removal.
